Executive Mentoring
Expert mentors developing your skills
When you're a director or senior executive you might be without peers in your organisation. Who inspires you to explore new techniques, further learning, or even help you solve tricky finance problems? The Results Centre's Executive Mentoring programme gives you an expert peer in your own field (finance director mentored by a senior finance director for example) for expert opinion and practical advice on immediate business issues.
Mentoring gives you greater skills, wider knowledge and professional contacts to help you solve business challenges. The Results Centre mentors bring technical knowledge gained over a long career, together with the latest thinking in their disciplines.
Mentorship encourages participants to gain further skills, renew their studies (MBA for example) and use professional peer networks for ongoing learning and development. The Results Centre sees mentoring as a first step in succession planning for future business leadership.
A mentoring programme tailored for you
Mentoring services can be purchased as:
- a package of sessions defined by you
- mentoring support for a specified period of time
- open-ended arrangement for mentoring services as and when required
At programme start the mentor will work with you as the client stakeholder, and the executive to be mentored (if a different person) to identify business objectives important to your organisation, and a project plan that gives you measurable results and a return on your mentoring investment.
Mentoring works best when there is a high degree of trust between the participant and mentor. Consequently The Results Centre's executive mentoring is delivered one-to-one in complete confidence either at your premises or externally if you prefer. Additional support can be delivered by phone and email.
Using the best mentors
Over a number of years we've recruited a large pool of experienced senior executives in each business discipline (general management, finance, procurement, marketing etc) available to you as The Results Centre mentor associates.
From our pool we select the mentor associate best qualified to mentor your executive, based on industry and discipline experience, availability, location and personality (we like people to get along).

To maintain the The Results Centre philosophy and the quality of our service we manage our mentors through an initial briefing at the start of the mentoring assignment and then project manage the assignment with a series of actions:
- Regular reports demonstrating the effectiveness of the mentoring
- Support with specialist knowledge and contacts from The Results Centre's professional networks, to give even wider knowledge
- Debrief at the end of the assignment with the client stakeholder, mentored executive, mentor and The Results Centre project manager
- Submission of a return on investment statement which demonstrates the phenomenal return on the mentoring investment
